Maestro Application

Applicants,

Please complete this form if you wish to be a Maestro and to submit your class idea for the Department Chairperson to review. This term the following classes are open for application:

Please be sure that when applying you've read through the notes left by the Department Chairperson (DC) for special instructions. To read the notes, simply hover over the class above and a memo will appear. Failure to following any specific directions can lead to a denial of your application.

Please fill in all the fields in this form, incomplete applications will be denied. Please be as descriptive as you can in the class-related fields. YOU MUST HAVE A WEBSITE WITH AT LEAST ONE LESSON COMPLETED. All new classes and Maestros have to be confirmed by the Beauxbatons Online Directrices Board, you will be contacted via email by Chauncey Clemenceau as soon as possible with either an acceptance or denial. ONE CLASS PER APPLICATION, YOU MAY SUBMIT AS MANY APPLICATIONS ARE YOU WANT.

All Applicants must be at least 15 years of age in real life in order to apply.

Name:	What name do you want as an Maestro? (No canon characters from any book or movie, and no famous people.)
Your Age:	All Maestros MUST be over 15 years old in real life.
eOWl:	Your current email address. If you're a new Maestro it can not be an @hswcw.com one.
Student:	Do you, or have you ever had a student character on Beauxbatons Online? If yes, what was the student's ID and Name?
Describe Yourself:	Tell us something about your real life self; how old are you, what do you do? Why do you think you qualify for the topic you want to work for Beauxbatons Online? What special qualities do you have that would be an asset to the Beauxbatons Online? Anything else that you think would be of use to Beauxbatons Online? Do you have previous experience on another site?
References:	Please list at least 3 references to active members on HO who can vouch for your character and ability to teach.
Class:	Select a class that is accepting applications.
Website:	You MUST have a class website that already exists. Please be sure at least one lesson is up.
Department:	The department MUST match what class you selected.
Class Description:	Please give a detailed description of what the course you wish to teach is about. It is important that this description is at least a paragraph in lenght and that it includes the following: how many lessons you plan to have, how many assignments will you have, will there be a special project, how will students earn points, how will students earn quills, the type of work load that students can expect from this course, and a listing of the topics that your course will cover.
Syllabus:	Please give a detailed listing of the topics that you plan to cover with this course and general time frame when this course will have assignments.
